Game Jam – Gateways

Game Jam – Gateways
April 25, 2021 by rtroe

As part of a Gamejam at my work, I created a portal-meets-homeworld style ship game. It’s very basic and needs some polish, but it’s not bad for being created within 48 hours. It shows off the portal concept by being able to fly between different areas within the area.

You’re a bountry hunter that finds yourself lost above an unknown planet. Having just jumped away from your pursuers without fully checking where you were jumping too. You find your self infront of a gate system, linking you to far off star systems allowing you to look for materials to repair your ship so that you may be able to jump again back to safety.

If you want to check it out, head on over to itch.IO.
